heyy.
i’m going to try to keep this as short as possible.
so i was born in russia and i lived there for seven years before i came to the US. i have an accent, but i usually cover it pretty well unless i start to get lazy about it. yesterday i didn’t put any effort into covering it up, and i was taking a walk with my friend. this guy’s dog got loose from the leash and jumped up against us and he was appolgoizing like crazy. i said something like “it’s okay. we’re fine.” and he just want even crazier. he was all “whaooo. you’re russian? wow. i have yet to meet a russian woman that’s any less than a 9, and you are just gorgeous also. there has got to be something in the water over there.”

it was very uncomfortable and awkward because i was like “what do you mean? we have clean water over there.” and i felt like a total *ss hole because after i said it i realized how stupid it sounded… but what does that expression really mean?
